NETSCAPE SERVERS: Netscape offers a range of server and Web-development software for setting up Internet or intranet sites or building networked applications - including Web, Proxy, Mail, and News servers.
This page is for people who create or manage Web sites or networks.
NETSCAPE NAVIGATOR COMPONENTS: Netscape and third-party-developer components extend the capabilities of the Netscape Navigator platform. Components help you take advantage of Internet-based multimedia content and facilities.

If you have questions about which product to download, read the Netscape Products section of our site.
Anyone can download our released software and evaluate it for free. Following the evaluation period, you can purchase the Netscape product that you have downloaded by visiting our General Store.
If you are a student, staff member, or faculty member of an educational institution, charitable nonprofit organization, or public library, you may download Netscape Navigator and Netscape Servers for free.
Prerelease (beta) software is free for everyone. By using a beta version, you have an opportunity to work with the next generation of software before it's officially released.
Please note that if you are using Netscape software for free, you are not entitled to technical support.
